Lead Network Engineer

Qualifications/Experience:- Qualified Engineer with 7-10 yrs experience. Ideally the candidate will have experience in the Road Design/Road Construction sectors.  The ideal candidate will have excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.  The ability to work in a team using a collaborative leadership style, the ability to multitask and make results focused planning recommendations or decisions based on client care and resources data and a strong attention to detail are paramount.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure compliance with all duties and responsibilities under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005, The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Construction Regulations 2013, the Protection of the Environment Act 2003 and all other Regulations, Codes of Practice, Etc.
  • Identification of non-cyclical works and up-to date costing of same for payment application submissions;
  • Procurement and supplier contracts in liaison with Line Manager;
  • Facilitate liaison with Stakeholders including Shareholders, major subcontractors and suppliers;
  • Direct Line Management of Network Engineers;
  • Preparation of departments section for monthly reporting obligations
  • Traffic Management Design Experience an advantage
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and AutoCad

Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer

Qualifications/Experience:- The ideal candidate will have excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.  The ability to work in a team, the ability to negotiate and a strong attention to detail using a methodical approach to work are paramount.   Ideally the candidate will have experience in the Road Design/Road Construction sectors or similar.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist Contractor in matching works orders costs to schedule of rates for payment applications
  • Preparation of Contractors Requests and Payment Applications data following a consistent format
  • price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
  • prepare budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
  • track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
  • measure and value the work done on site
  • liaise with all stakeholders as appropriate
  • elect and/or advise on source construction materials
  • write reports.

Network Inspector  THIS POSITION IS NOW FILLED

(One Year Fixed Term Contract)

A opportunity to join our Data / RMMS Department has arisen.    The successful candidate will be responsible for executing Motorway Network inspections, updating data and reporting within KPI  deadlines.  Immediate start date preferable. We are an international organization who are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance Team.

Applicant Specification:

The suitable candidate must have the following:

  • Accounts payable & accounts receivable experience
  • Experience working in SAP using the FICO, MM & SD modules
  • Excellent communication, numerical and organizational skills

Job Specification:

As part of a finance team of 3 and reporting to and working closely with the Finance Manager the role will involve:

  • Daily processing of Supplier invoices in SAP
  • Matching of purchase orders, delivery dockets and invoices. Price checking including follow up of any issues regarding shortages or credits
  • Vendor queries – payments, unpaid invoices, etc.
  • Queries in relation to payments/payment approvals to vendors from the organisation
  • Creditor Reconciliations
  • Bi-monthly supplier payment runs
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Petty cash management
  • Purchase order monitoring & review
  • Accounts Receivable invoice processing as required
  • Point of contact – Creation of New Vendors accounts in SAP
