Current Vacancies:

Duration: 2 years Special Purpose Contract (with extension possibility)
Location: Castleknock
Hours: 40 Hours p/w Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive depending on experience

Role and Responsibilities

  • Report to Sustainability Steering Committee in the development of proposals and produce high quality feasibility and options reports aligned to TII’s Sustainability Implementation Plan (SIP), Climate Change Roadmap (2022) and Climate Change Adaptation Strategy (2022) to reduce emissions and meet decarbonization and energy efficiency targets.
  • Transpose approved proposals into specifications, requirements and designs in liaison with nominated service providers
  • Develop works packages and review all documentation associated with the works.
  • Review supply chain and delivery methods and progress approved proposals throughout all stages of implementation and completion to the satisfaction of TII.
  • Conduct site inspections, data analysis and collation for reporting on all sustainability initiatives including, but not limited to, monitoring and reporting on Contractors’ progress.



  • Full, clean ‘B’ Driving license essential
  • Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in roads infrastructure projects
  • Circa minimum of 3 years of operations and maintenance experience – an advantage
  • Comprehensive report writing experience
  • Excellent communication skills

Role and Responsibilities

  • Routine road maintenance of activities.
  • Winter maintenance activities.
  • Install, maintain & removal of temporary traffic management.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety Regulations and Procedures.



  • Full, clean ‘B’ Driving license essential.
  • Full, clean ‘C’ Driving license preferred.
  • Traffic Management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in Civil Construction or Motorway/Road Maintenance desirable.
