Our Commitment to a Low‑Carbon Future
Globalvia Jons is dedicated to proactively reducing CO₂ emissions and advancing the transition toward more sustainable infrastructure management. As part of this commitment, we have already integrated internationally recognised environmental and energy management systems, including ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and the CO₂ Ladder.
These certifications reflect our ongoing efforts to operate responsibly, improve energy efficiency, and minimise environmental impact across all our activities.
At Globalvia Jons, we believe that decarbonisation is a shared responsibility. That’s why we are building a collaborative, forward‑looking approach to emissions reduction, working closely with partners to drive meaningful and lasting change.
Our emissions
Globalvia Jons has decided to focus on fully controlled direct emissions belonging to Scope 1 & 2 on a 2023 baseline.
- Scope 1: Direct emissions from company-owned and controlled sources- such as fuel used in our fleet, plant and machinery
- Scope 2: Indirect emissions from the generation of purchased electricity and gas used in our offices.
2023 baseline:
- Scope 1: 759 T Co2
- Scope 2: 70 T Co2
Our objectives
In partnership with one of our shareholders, Globalvia Inversions, we are aligning our group-wide strategies to strengthen our sustainability efforts, ensure environmentally responsible processes, and fully align with their SBTi‑approved pathway to achieve Net Zero.
